Overview

Turtle Fiesta Bar and Grill is a refreshing gem nestled in Easton, Washington, serving authentic Mexican cuisine with genuine heart and soul. Located right off E Sparks Road, this modest spot, adjacent to a Shell gas station, surprises visitors with food that rivals more established eateries in quality and flavor.

The main draws here are the house-made tortillas and a focused menu spotlighting classic Mexican dishes that showcase a variety of meats, including carne asada, lengua, and adobada. Their lineup, while still growing, offers well-executed plates, ranging from savory burritos and tacos to crispy chicken strips and flavorful quesadillas. The specialty items like carne asada fries and ceviche tostadas add a vibrant touch to the options.

The space itself embodies a soulful "hole-in-the-wall" charm. It’s adorned with festive decorations like sombreros and piñatas, creating an inviting, informal atmosphere where the focus clearly rests on delivering quality food without pretense. The friendly family-run vibe shines through in both service and ambiance. Owner Willie and his team, including their dedicated cook Maria, demonstrate deep pride in their craft, making every meal feel cared for and authentic.

Customers consistently praise the genuine flavors and fresh ingredients. The tortillas alone are a highlight—soft, warm, and crafted with care—providing the perfect base for their richly seasoned meats. The balance of textures and flavors in dishes like the carnitas plate or carne asada burrito, often butter-fried to a crisp outside, speaks to thoughtful preparation and culinary skill.

Beyond food, the experience extends to a warm and attentive service ethos. Guests remark on the promptness and kindness of the staff, making diners feel welcome regardless of whether they come for a quick lunch or a leisurely dinner. The evolving menu and planned additions—a bar, patio, and weekend breakfast with traditional Mexican mornings—show that Turtle Fiesta is committed to growing with its community.

This spot appeals especially to locals and travelers seeking genuine Mexican fare away from the typical chain or tourist traps. Outdoor enthusiasts camping around Easton and Cle Elum find it a reliable stop for quality meals. Families, casual diners, and anyone craving flavorful, home-style cooking will appreciate the variety and authenticity here.

In sum, Turtle Fiesta Bar and Grill is not just a restaurant; it’s a celebration of Mexican culinary tradition in a small-town setting. It breaks expectations with its remarkable food, heartfelt service, and cultural authenticity. For those in Eastern Washington or passing through, it offers a sincere taste of Mexico’s rich food heritage without the fuss—a hidden treasure worth seeking out.

A delicious new restaurant for the community, they are using a smaller menu as they just opened up a month ago, and will be expanding it further over the next few months. We stopped on a weeknight and a good crowd of people were inside. Service was fast and friendly, the Owner and staff clearly took pride in the food which was authentic and amazing! Home made tortillas and all of the different choices of meat were tasty! Highly recommend!

This place has no right to be as good as it is. And yet here we are: House-made tortillas, sensational carnitas, a serviceable (off-menu) kids menu, enormous, delicious burritos, and a selection of 5 or 6 homemade salsas ranging from “that’s got a little kick” to “Holy mother of God”. All this and genuinely kind, thoughtful service, coming to you from a restaurant attached to a gas station in Easton. Unbelievable. The menu is limited, but as far as I can tell it’s filled with 100% bangers. And sincerely, if you can’t be happy choosing between 5 great meat options (including lengua!) in taco or burrito form, I’m not sure we can be friends anyway. Folks! They’re building out a bar! Maybe a patio out back! And supposedly starting weekend breakfast service soon! Will they have chilaquiles? Migas? Huevos rancheros? If there is a God they will. We live in North Bend and camp (many) weekends in the Easton / Cle Elum area, and I can assure you Turtle Fiesta will be a regular spot for us. It should be for you too.

Small town feel, with great food and drinks. I ordered a carnitas burrito and margaritas. I really enjoyed both selections. Definitely recommend giving them a try

By noon they ran out of pulled pork so I ordered carne asasa burrito and adobo pork taco. Burrito was insanely good and appeared to be butter fried outside. Adobo pork was way too salty for me. It was a Togo order and was very well packed so we could take it to Lake Easton to enjoy your lunch. Please try their burrito and you won’t regret it. Omg this place is amazing. If I could give this more than 5 stars I would. We came on a Friday on our way to Suncadia and I read the reviews and it looked good, plus it was literally a less than 5 min drive to Lake Easton which was our pit stop. I was initially debating between getting burgers nearby or Turtle Fiesta and I’m sooo glad we stopped by. I was blown away by the quality of the food. I ordered a carnitas plate with 2 extra tortillas ($1 extra each). The tortillas are so worth - the best tortilla I’ve ever had. Legit… like equivalent of Mexican food from SoCal or Texas which I’ve lived in!!! So I really stand by this review. The carnitas plate has a fresh cabbage slaw, perfect rice and beans, and comes with their homemade salsa. Unfortunately though if you order to-go, you don’t get the free chips and salsa fyi. It really hit the spot and left me craving for more. prices are also reasonable!!! So this is a review from Fri carnitas plate and also from our dine in lunch on Sun. Yes, we dined 2x! So after our Suncadia stay, we of course hit Turtle Fiesta again. This time I wanted to try their other homemade salsas, their chips and the carne asada since we dined in. So I found out that this restaurant has been open for about 5-6 months now. That’s why their menu is limited because they’re still working on it. They also have a separate specials menu that’s written on the white board as you walk in, which can change. This is a family owned restaurant. My server/host April said her aunt Maria cooks all the food and her dad Willie was also there serving tables and running the place. They have plans to expand and have a bar area available as well. Ambiance - it’s not fine dining but I’d literally call this a hidden gem/hole in the wall. The decor when you walk in is filled with Mexican sombreros and piñata decorations everywhere kinda like a typical Mexican joint. They’re putting their energy on the FOOD and you’re not paying high prices for decor. This is a no frills quality Mexican food joint and I love that it’s a hole in the wall. Let’s get to the best part - the food! we ordered a carne asade plate (~$21), 2 extra tortillas, a shrimp ceviche crispy taco ($7.50) and a small side of rice and beans ($3). It was just the right amount and I requested for them to cut up the carne asade steak since I don’t want it as one big slab (harder to make tacos with). They happily accommodated and it came out great. Rice and beans tasted exactly the same as I first had it Friday so their consistency and quality control is on point. Their chips are also homemade and so addicting with that homemade salsa. I got to try their other homemade salsas as well: mango habenero pineapple, and another spicier tomato based version of their salsa. They also have a green salsa verde which is mild. All of them were excellent. the shrimp ceviche was so fresh and I can’t believe the portion size, it was huge! it was so perfect on a hot summer day. They also have a breakfast menu they’re starting up and plan to serve traditional Mexican soups. One thing I really appreciate is their focus on the food and presentation. Though the restaurant itself is a hole in the wall, when the tortillas came out so beautifully wrapped in the festive cloth, I knew this place was legit. I love how much attention they pay to the food and to give real homage to quality Mexican food. I’d literally drive here from the Eastside to come dine here again and I will be sure to recommend this place to my friends who are craving Mexican food. Unfortunately Bellevue doesn’t have any, but I found my new go-to Mexican spot and will bookmark this place!!! It’s literally next to a shell gas station and soooo unassuming. But trust me on this, the food is BOMB. Like literally the best. and basically everything’s like homemade. So give this place a try! Shout out to Willie, April, and the amazing cook behind it all - Maria. Your family is lovely and I’m so looking forward to seeing your menu expand in the near future! Seriously the best Mexican food in Washington State.

Absolutely delicious food and exceptional service! From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I ordered a couple of asada tacos, and not only was the presentation on point, but the flavor was chef’s kiss! You can really taste the quality and care in every bite. Highly recommend, I’ll definitely be coming back!

Stopped on our way back to the west coast - food was great. Menu easy. Had chicken and asada tacos with Horchata. I knew when I walked in and saw a female chef it was gunna be top notch. Highly recommend for casual stop.

The food and service is phenomenal. This is hands down the best Mexican food I’ve had in Washington since moving here five years ago. I had the carne asada dinner. It came with fresh made tortillas which they made after we ordered. There was also an assortment of fresh made salsas that were all extremely flavorful. The rice and beans were made to perfection as was the meat. Everything I had was fresh and had a real depth of flavor. Even the chips and salsa that came out first were made fresh. I plan on visiting often.
